Good food. Good service. Has a family feeling to it.

Service was good they forgot my tartar sauce and gave my sister a diet Pepsi on her refill instead of Pepsi. Other than that food was fresh and hot.

I'm sorry but we have yet to have a good experience at this restaurant. we put so much time between visits just to see if it has improved at all, but it still suffers the same issues. every time the staff are overly friendly with what looks like a well known customer, but practically treat us like we have the plague. servers are impatient, like they're in a hurry for you to give them your order so they can go back to doing nothing. the food quality has never been great, just okay. there are far better restaurants in Rochelle open at the same time.

Food is excellent, service is great. One of the best little salad bars around...if I changed anything, I'd get rid of a couple of tables. It's very crowded.

I came in today with a party of 10 and we had the best service. The food was great and a reasonable price. The restaurant offered very quick and experienced waitresses.

A very large menu, friendly staff and good food. They have a nice salad bar that comes with many of the entrees. They had two soups. I had the stuffed green pepper which was good. I ordered the open face roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was very good and it was a large plate! Husband had the Rueben and french fries. He said the sandwich was very good and I could see it had a lot of meat. We'll return as there was no way we could try any of their delicious looking desserts this trip!

This is a nice diner that offers a lot of different food options. Their breakfast is really good especially the skillets and definitely get the side of pancakes.

We love the fried chicken. That's usually all we ever order. But for a small town restaurant they sure don't make their regular customers feel appreciated. The wait staff is great but the owners are cold and unwelcoming.

Absolutely loved this restaurant! It has a welcoming environment for our family with a toddler. The menu has a great variety of American and homemade classics. My husband has a classic burger and fries (can’t beat it). I opted for the baked cod, it was delicious with a great sauce, it came with a veggie and potato- plus the salad bar. I left stuffed! Butterfly is the perfect family restaurant that every town needs.

Man,let me tell you, if you like diners this is the place to eat. These guys are awesome. The food here is excellent. From breakfast to lunch, I haven't eaten dinner here, you can count on superior service and tasty food. The wait staff is both friendly and professional and the atmosphere is nice. The prices are more than reasonable. Probably the best bang for the buck around. I promise you will love this joint.

by far the best family style restaurant in the rockford/beloit/dekalb area..salad bar always very fresh and well kept up..extensive menu..all the waitresses are super nice..food very tasty..been going for over 20 years..can always count on the meal being very good..need more places like this in the area

The food is mostly hit rather than miss but there are still occasions where it isn't consistent. The servers have usually been really nice people. Try it out.

Seriously great food. It was hot, fresh, and on my table quickly even when it was busy. Service was good and prompt. Atmosphere was home-like. Portions were excellent. Prices are also on the low-end which is also a plus. Would definitely stop in again!
